Meningkatkan Kemampuan Menulis Dongeng Menggunakan Media Gambar Berseri Pada Siswa Kelas VA SD Negeri 009 Bintan Timur

Abstract

The problem in this research is that students have difficulty writing fairy tales in Indonesian. The aim of this research is to improve the ability to write fairy tales using series of pictures in class V. This type of research is Classroom Action Research. This research was carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning stages, action implementation, observation and reflection. The subject of this research is class V of SD Negeri 009 East Bintan. The sample of this research consisted of 29 students. Data collection techniques use observation, tests, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation as well as data collection techniques using qualitative and quantitative analysis. The results of this research indicate that the use of serial image media in the Indonesian language subject of writing fairy tales can be implemented well. The Indonesian KKTP score is 70 or classical learning completeness reaches 80%. The percentage of student completion in pre-cycle 4 students who completed (14%) with an average score of 47.59. Furthermore, cycle I experienced an increase of 18 students who completed (62%) with an average score of 53.21. Then cycle II increased with an average score of 83.48, with 26 students completing it (90%). Therefore, there is an increase in the writing ability of fifth grade students at SD Negeri 009 East Bintan by using series of picture media in the Indonesian language subject, writing fairy tales.
