Abstract

The background of the problem in this research is to edit the contribution of BUMD in increasing the Regional Original Income (PAD) of the Riau Islands Province, a case study at PT. Riau Islands Harbor. This research aims to determine the contribution of BUMD in increasing the Regional Original Income (PAD) of the Riau Islands Province, precisely at PT. Riau Islands Harbor. This research is a mixed qualitative and quantitative research. The focus of this research is the contribution of BUMD in increasing PAD at PT. Riau Islands Harbor. This research uses data collection techniques using interview and observation methods. From the research results, after the data has been processed, it can be seen from the profit generation that the company made a profit in 2019. Then, starting from 2020-2023, it experienced losses in business. Thus, the company has not achieved maximum operating profits. Due to frequent losses in business, what happened was that the amount of assets that had reached IDR 48,328,490,000.00 continued to decline. In 2021 total assets will be IDR. 46,731,688,835.00 and in 2022 the total assets will be IDR 38,430,521,222.00. Thus, BUMD PT. The Riau Islands Port (Perseroda) is not yet optimal and is still less effective in contributing to Regional Original Income (PAD).
